Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted is an indie horror game that is loosely based on the popular 90's game show, "Golden Balls." The game is best described as a jump scare simulator, in which the player must survive five nights of being stalked by the murderous animatronic characters. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: HELP WANTED is a horror game for mobile devices developed by Scott Cawthon. It is a point-and-click survival horror game in which the player takes the role of a new security guard named Mike Schmidt. The gameplay is based on a virtual reality simulation. The player's tasks are to monitor the security cameras, the lights, and the doors. If any of these items malfunctions, the player has to fix them.
The gameplay consists of the player staying one night at the restaurant and waiting for the animatronics to come. The player must survive by using the security cameras to find the animatronic and prevent it from getting to them. The player must also use the doors to close and open them and use the lights to stun the animatronics. There are only five levels and the gameplay is fairly repetitive. At the beginning of the game, the player is informed that they will not be able to leave the pizzeria, and should watch the security camera footage to learn more about the animatronics.
